  This unit was perfect for my wife and I. It had a spare room that could accommodate 2 adults and 2 kids plus the 2 of us that we didn't even use. Perfect location in regards to Destin and a 1 minute walk to the beach with the whitest sand and clearest waters out of anywhere we have stayed in Florida. Highly recommend this unit!

  Our first time to destin and we enjoyed every minutes of it the room was very clean and awesome layout.the managers were very friendly and helpful. Definitely will stay again. Suggestion: would be nicer with an ice machine and a little roof at the smoking area. Otherwise it was an awesome place

  We have stayed in several different units at the islander over the past several years. We stayed in 3 different units this year due to availability and this was our favorite. We've never stayed in a unit with washer/dryer combo, this was very nice, but it means you only have one sink in the master bathroom. Ceiling fans in the bedrooms are always a plus. Overall a very nice, clean unit. The appliances and nice. Our grandkids enjoyed the bunk beds in the spare bedroom when they visited. Only negatives - I'd prefer to be on a higher floor because of noise from the pool area and the view is more desirable. The cabinets have been repainted and the finish is kind of rough. I could hear running water in the middle of the night from the second bathroom. I would get up thinking a toilet was running, but I think it was from the unit above is.
