  We had a very good stay. Was very disappointed that they had turn down the gazebo. We have had 25 years of good times and cook outs with our friends and memories. Was told you are going to rebuild it. Hopefully very soon.

  The one complaint we had. We came off the beach late afternoon and all the sprinklers were on. It was way too early and everything on the balcony got soaked. We got wet coming into the condo. I am guessing that was a mistake as we have stayed there numerous years and the sprinklers have never gone off.
  
  The bugs/nats seemed to be a problem this year. Do not remember that from years past.
  
  We loved all the family activities that the condo offered. That is a great plus for families with children.

  We really loved our time at The Islander, and this unit (115) in particular. If you’re looking for some thing with super fancy high end finishes this won’t be the unit for you, but everything was very clean and well-kept and all the furniture was very sturdy and made of real wood. The mattresses were also in excellent shape and made for very restful nights. The kitchen was well-stocked so that we could actually cook in the unit and with a television in the living room and each of the bedrooms there are plenty of options for entertainment, if you could tear yourself away from the beautiful exterior of the property. We absolutely loved that this unit was ground floor and that we basically had a beautiful yard of lush grass that our kids could play kickball and tag and frisbee on. We were so close to the beautiful gazebo for some shaded play and outdoor meals and with a pool and a hot tub also being so nearby, it was just an ideal location. We have four children, ages 11, nine, six, and four, And would definitely stay here again. Very close to everything that Destin has to offer and the walk to the beach is incredibly short. We were also pleasantly surprised by how many towels were provided for baths, and there were at least three rolls of toilet paper as well as a roll of paper towels, which got us through the week just fine.

  Check in and out was a breeze.we loved how one pool was just outside from the back porch and was not loud at all. Also the grilling section. Little walk to beach but not far at all and when I say that I don't like walking and carrying stuff but it was very easy walk. And room came with two beach chairs and umbrella set up which was very nice. Beach not crowded. My wife said she would like to stay in same room again next year.

  Our rental experience was great. The location could not be better. We love the bottom floor with the grands. They enjoy the pool and the grounds, as well as, the beach. There seemed to be some type of odor in the unit when we arrived. The property management and staff were very helpful in taking care of the problem. No one could exactly decide what caused this but they were helpful in eliminating it and in being sure we were happy with our unit. Could not ask for better people to work with and a better location. Love the Islander, the location and the staff are great!!!!

  The condo was perfect. Comfortably slept 5 of us. Staff was extremely hospitable. Very clean. Great complex so close to the beach. Free beach service was a huge plus. Get out there by 6:30-7am with a towel, once Alan starts setting the umbrellas, throw your towel over the top of one and your spot is reserved for the rest of the day. Come back later with the fam! Couldn’t have asked for better.
