Kitchen: The recently remodeled kitchen is a true highlight, offering sleek stainless-steel appliances, and a fully equipped space for preparing everything from quick snacks to gourmet meals. Whether you're dining in or packing a picnic for the beach, you'll appreciate the convenience and elegance of this fully stocked kitchen. Plus, enjoy the view of the beach while you cook!

Master Bedroom: The master bedroom is a peaceful retreat with a king-sized bed featuring a premium Serta mattress and Tempur-Pedic topper and black out curtains for a restful night’s sleep. For entertainment, a 48" HDTV is available. The attached master bathroom features granite countertops and a spacious walk-in shower, providing a modern and luxurious space for relaxation.

Guest Bedroom: The guest bedroom has a queen-sized bed and a 24" HDTV for entertainment. A serene environment for relaxation, with plenty of space and modern touches throughout. The adjoining bathroom has granite countertops.

NOTE: Washer & Dryers are NOT provided in every vacation rental. Coin Operated washer & dryers are located on premises.

Rules: Smoking is not allowed inside the units or on the patio; however, designated smoking areas are provided for your convenience. We kindly ask that no pets accompany you during your visit. Each unit accommodates a maximum of 6 guests. An initial supply of paper towels, toiletries, and trash bags is included in the rental. Once these supplies are used, guests will need to restock for the remainder of their stay.

They even had to floor fans in the rooms. Would definitely stay in this room again. Love the new keys and the private beach. Comes with two chairs and umbrella daily on the beach. They even set them up for you.

  We've stayed in several different units at the Islander over the years, but only stayed 1 night here. The unit has an awesome view. It was clean and we'll kept. There has been some upgrades, granite countertops, celling fans and USB outlets on each side of the bed. The unit felt old because of the basic white stove/fridge. The dark wood doors, baseboard and bathroom cabinets looked like original from the 1982, a coat of white paint would have helped a lot.

  We have been coming to the Islander since the early '90's. Have never stayed anywhere else in Destin. Once we found this perfect spot, we have really never even looked for another place. We have stayed in many different units on different floors, but this was our 2nd visit to Unit 706. We like being on the top floor. The view is wonderful. We don't even get in the water, but we sure enjoy looking at it! Unit 706 has been updated and has a lovely walk-in shower in the master bedroom. It is probably not far from another update or two, but is still a very nice unit. We always enjoy our stay at the Islander, and plan on visiting again.

  We had a great time at the Islander. It is in a great location away from some of the larger resorts. Unit 706 was exactly as described and had plenty of room for all of us. Kitchen could use a few more items but overall it was wonderful. All the staff were kind and very helpful. We came just after Labor Day so it was not very busy. I would imagine everything would be quite crowded during the busy season. It was so nice having dedicated beach chairs included. It was a little frustrating that people were able to claim chairs up front first thing in the morning and then not even come to the beach until well into the afternoon. If you are going to claim beach chairs you should have to be at the actual beach. Overall, it was a wonderful vacation!

  Yes we love staying at the Islander resort. This was our 3rd yr . The staff is great. I do want to give a huge shout out for an employee who worked afternoons and nights, Melissa. She was great. Always greeted us every time we came in or left and was very nice. She always went over and beyond expectations of making sure we were satisfied. I do wish yall had actual recliners in the rooms as my dad has alot of health issues and fell out of the chair trying to get up. I also wish yall would allow smoking on your patios as long as all doors were shut. we would go down to our vehicle to smoke. Or at least have a closer smoking area. We hope to see you again next year. Overall we love this place.

  We really enjoyed our stay. The location was perfect. Room was nice and clean. All staff were friendly and helpful. We would stay here again. Thank you for making our vacation wonderful!
