Our vacation rental offers everything you need for a fun-filled beach vacation. Furnished for a relaxing and comfortable vacation getaway our rental sleeps up to six guests. Our condo features a private balcony overlooking the stunning beaches. Enjoy fully equipped kitchen, a master suite with a private bath, and a cozy living area with a sleeper sofa. NOTE: Washer & Dryers are NOT provided in every vacation rental. Coin Operated washer & dryers are located on premises!

Rules: Smoking is not allowed inside the units or on the patio; however, designated smoking areas are provided for your convenience. We kindly ask that no pets accompany you during your visit. Each unit accommodates a maximum of 6 guests to ensure everyone enjoys their space. An initial supply of paper towels, toiletries, and trash bags is included in the rental. Once these supplies are used, guests will need to restock for the remainder of their stay.

Yes some would say unit #702 is dated but it didn't bother us because it has what we need and most of our time is spent outside. The staff is always helpful and friendly. Great place to visit the ocean and with amenities like the pools... is what wins us over vs. renting other places. We feel safe here and enjoy our stay.

  I love this unit 702. I have stayed twice. The only thing I would recommend before I would stay in 702 again is to please get new carpet or replace with flooring as the carpet is pretty nasty.

  We come to the Islander with a large group, its alot of fun and the beach is fantastic. The condo was fine, its a little dated and the carpet really needs to be replaced with sometype of hard flooring. The elevators were concerning, they kept breaking down and dropping a few inches here and there. My kids were afraid they were going to get stuck in them, so we took the stairs most of the time. All in all a great time, but a few things resort should work on.

  The condo is in a great location! It definitely was not updated as stated. Very dated decor, fixtures & appliances, but they all worked. We didn’t have much interaction with the staff. They were courteous at check in & check out. The condo was a little smaller than pictures look, but only one of our children were with us, so that was manageable.

  We love the beach. Use to live in the area back in the 70's. Had a great view of the beach and gulf waters. This the 4th time we have stayed in this unit and will probably do so on our next visit.   We usually stay in my aunts condo down the road but we were not able to this and I was nervous about trying something new. We had no complaints after staying here and if we ever need to stay somewhere other than my aunts we will definitely consider the islander first. Next time we will try to stay closer to elevator so the walk is a little shorter. Enjoyed the ocean view at all times of day.

  My vacation was awesome as always. Great location to stay at with planned activities provided by Islander weekly, keeping the guests entertained. Clean and neatly kept up place. My room unit 702 was also clean and stocked up. All was great but I do have a small complaint. I've stayed at this unit 2 times and the bed closest to the balcony is still damaged. The bed has a dip in the mid section causing who ever sleeps on it to roll to the middle of it. I've reported the issue previously and it's a shame to see that it hasn't been fixed. If it can be fixed great, if it can't it doesn't bother me. I'll just ask for another room on my other vacations and will stay away feom that unit and so on. Hopefully the rest of the rooms on that wing will be on tip top shape. I plan to go back again..

  The location was perfect - away from the noise of the pools & elevator. A few things could have been improved. The mattress in the master bedroom needs changed or at least a new foam pad. It was very uncomfortable. Lighting in bathrooms was dark - we asked for new light bulbs since 2 were burnt out when we arrived. Bathroom floors/area around tubs needed to be scrubbed.

  We were pleasantly surprised by the property. Everything was clean and well kept. Proximity to the beach was great. The unit was quiet and had a great view of the ocean as you walk into the living area. We tend to cook for ourselves while on vacation so I may be a little critical of the items needed to cook easily. The unit could use a few more frying pans and small cereal bowls. We had a little trouble initially operating the dishwasher since there was not an owner's manual that we could find in the stack of other manuals in the kitchen. Overall we loved the rental and would stay again. Everyone was friendly and helpful.

  Great place for vacation. The ocean front view is spectacular. Destin beach is so beautiful. The rooms are very comfortable and clean. We like the decoration too. The building front desk staff (Melissa and Hanna) are very friendly. The free beach chair and umbrella definitely is a nice add-on. The beach staff, Rick, is super nice. We had a wonderful time here and will come back!
