Kitchen: Beautifully designed, our updated kitchen includes all stainless-steel appliances, quartz counters, white shaker cabinets, new backsplash, and a Keurig coffeemaker. Plank flooring throughout. Designed beautifully and ample counter space will surely inspire your culinary skills. The dining room features a new dining room set with bench seating and four chairs.

Master Bedroom & Bath: The master bedroom features a brand-new 5-star Sealy Posturepedic Spring Bloom king mattress, plantation shutters, and a ceiling fans 40-inch Vizio Smart TV for restful sleep. The private bathroom has been remodeled with a walk-in shower with white subway tiles all around, sliding glass barn doors, full sized double vanity with quartz countertops, and new tile flooring. The Guest Bedroom offers two comfortable twin beds, fresh paint, plantation shutters, ceiling fans, new bedding and a 26” HD/TV.

Complimentary Beach Service: Access to (2) beach chairs and (1) umbrella, (stays14 days or less) March 1 – October 31

Washer & Dryers are NOT provided in every vacation rental. Coin Operated washer & dryers are located on premises.

Smoking is not allowed inside the units or on the patio. Designated smoking areas are provided for your convenience. We kindly ask that no pets accompany you during your visit. n initial supply of paper towels, toiletries, and trash bags is included in the rental. Once these supplies are used, guests will need to restock for the remainder of their stay.

And on the last day we discovered there was even more sleeping space in the living room in a fold out couch.   Everything was just as the pictures and descriptions said it would be. When we arrived the staff that checked us in was extremely welcoming. Our unit was extremely clean and had everything we needed. There were plenty of towels and extra blankets/sheets in the closet. We brought out own kitchen supplies but there were plenty pots, pans, plates and glasses provided just in case. The view was great and the perfect walking distance to the beach. I guess the only thing that did bother me was the elevators. One of them almost gave me a heart attack the way it was bouncing when we got to our floor. So I just used the other one for the remainder of the trip. I was nervous about this location considering it was our first trip to Destin and you never know what you are going to get until you arrive, but we will definitely be booking again!

  The location is perfect. A quick walk to the beach, and two pools available. The beach service was a great addition. The condo was clean and comfortable. The amenities are sparse. They do not stock paper products, spices, cleaning materials, etc. We had to get additional trash bags, toilet paper, etc once we arrived. If you’re used to an AirBnB set up, this is not like that.

  Overall, the Islander is a good place to stay. Being non drinkers, the beach area was like a confined place, with nowhere to move. We decided to use other beaches in the area that more space was available to get away from the drinkers.

  This Condo was well furnished and functional. It was clean and the air worked great. It was close to most everything in Destin as most of the Condos there are. The condo would be a much better deal if it had a washer and dryer. I would definitely stay there again.

  I had a very nice stay. The condo was clean & nicely decorated. The staff at the Islander were always available & always helpful. Even though there appeared to be a lot of children present at the condo, it appeared safe & had many things to keep the kids occupied (basketball, tennis, swimming pool, etc).

  Our condo was well kept. No carpet which is great as I have allergies. Bathrooms need an overall. The Islander staff are excellent and anything that was needed was done right away.

  We have been coming to Destin for years and have stayed at the Islander every time. We've been extremely satisfied. While we loved this unit inside, I did fine out that the ocean views are better from the other building (where we normally stay). The unit itself, however, was fabulous and the beach proximity was more important than the view since we spent more time there than on our balcony.

  The overall experience of this particular unit and property was wonderful. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay over Labor Day weekend. The short walk to the beach was nice, and the view looking into the harbor from the balcony of the unit was wonderful. The unit was clean and well-kept, which included new flooring.
  The other party we were traveling with experienced a little issue with the parking lot curbs, which damaged the front bottom bumper guard on their vehicle. It was very minimal damage, but the property management is working to resolve the situation.
  
  Overall, we are pleased with our experience, and will most likely plan another stay in the future.

  It felt like home away from home. The place was clean and accommodated all of our needs. We had everything we needed to cook all our meals and used the grill area a few times as well. During our stay we used the laundry facility for towel exchange and also used the laundry room to wash clothes. Everyone on staff we talked to were very friendly . The only down side was the gate was open all week and people could come and go and use the beach access even though they weren't staying at the facility.
