  604 has been our "home" for 8 of the 10 years we've been staying at the Islander. We love the unit but noticed a few things that were a problem. Our first day, I spent time scrubbing the mold off the shower floor grout. And we ended up taking Dave to an orthopaedic doctor because of his back - neither of us could get off the sofa because it sunk down so low! (And yes, we know we're OLD! HA!) The rug under the sofa table smelled like cat urine when I accidentally spilled a little bit of water. I told Keaton, and he gave me a tiny cleaning machine. I used it on almost half of the rug because there was so much sand and dirt coming from it, but then my knees started to hurt and I quit. We let it dry, but could still smell the cat litter smell (at least, that's what it smelled like to us.) We aired it out on the deck, and I think by the time we left, it didn't smell, but just wanted you to know.

  We Just finished our stay at 604. 2 adults and 2 children under 10. First off the cleanliness of this condo was superb. Kitchen was fully equipped and all the utensils, glasses, crockery etc were in good clean condition.
  The view from the master bedroom and balcony is beautiful with direct unobstructed views of the gulf. Beds are comfortable and the air conditioning is VERY effective!
  
  Being on the 6th floor the shopping carts provided near reception make getting groceries and personal belongings up to the condo A LOT easier!
  The grounds are well kept and the pools well maintained and cleaned every morning. Pickleball courts etc look new and well maintained and always seemed to be occupied by happy players.
  On the beach the complementary sun loungers and umbrella are perfectly comfortable, though we spent most of our time enjoying the beautiful ocean. Dolphins, schools of fish and even rays were commonly spotted.
  
  All in all, we very much enjoyed our stay and will definitely be returning!

  uses was terrible The toilet was full of mold. If I was the owners of
  Unit 604 I would be very upset as it is a reflection on them. The cleanliness was not their fault.

The grounds are very pretty and there is lots to do their grill area was very nice and the staff was extremely helpful especially Maggie! We would definitely go back again!!   This is the 5th year staying at The Islander and we will continue to return. We always enjoy our stay every year. They only issue we had this year was there was a lady at the desk who was not very friendly at check in. I tried to check in early, which in the past has never been an issue and she just kept telling me no even after I was told my room was ready. I told her I would be more than happy to pay extra to check in early(11:30am) and she told me no that they had a paper hanging in their office saying no one could check in before noon under any circumstances and just sounded very irritated. I told her that in my paperwork it said that early check in was available at a cost and she just continued to sound irritated and told me no. I asked her what the earliest check ins were allowed and she said 12 so we had to sit in the parking lot and wait 30 minutes to check in to our room. Everything else was great as usual!

  This place is amazing, we will MOST definately come back here to visit this beautiful beach! The condo was so beautiful, has everything you may need to cook in kitchen, which honestly is a much better option than going to these over rated expensive restaraunts that have a 2-3 hr wait.
  But this resort and the beach are worth the trip. Very accomodating place. They have convenient shopping carts and luggage carts that make unloading easy. Theres an elevator in the lobby, 2 pools. Overall very happy with this experience. The price for the location and proximity to the beach to me seemed very reasonable and accesible.
  You also have included two seats on the beach with umbrella per room.
  Wifi included, TV's come with Roku and had access to netflix.
  There's other apps on Roku but we didn't try them since we out enjoying the beach and pool 😎.

  Besides the smell the condo was beautiful, comfortable and we had a wonderful time. We did have to purchase air freshener. The decor was nice, convenient location. Lighting in guest room was suboptimal at night and on cloudy days in my opinion. The hot tub (closest to beach) appeared to need some paint around the edge and had so much chlorine that my artificial nails turned yellow in some spots. I would recommend this condo if smell was remedied, lighting improved. Overall property was very nice and well maintained. Beautiful landscape.

  Overall a great week. We were a little disappointed with the lack of good cooking utensils. We cooked in several nights while we were there and had a hard time finding useable cooking utensils. The toilet leaked in the master bath but the Islander staff quickly took care of it and the slow drain too. Thanks Corey for your prompt service! The staff at the Islander is always courteous and helpful. The beach service is also excellent. Allen rakes good care of all the guests.

    We do our best to keep uniformity and have all our units stocked with as much as we think our guests will need. Where else could you stay with blenders, cookie sheets, pizza pans and muffin tins?

  We were very satisfied with our stay at the Islander. The decor in our unit was a little over the top, but everything worked fine, the staff was friendly, and the location overlooking the Gulf of Mexico was great! Although the weather was unseasonably cool during our stay, the pool and the spa were both comfortably warm. We definitely plan on returning next year, and for a longer time.

  We love the Islander and have stayed in various rooms over the years. Honestly I paid for a Gold condo and this condo really didn't deserve the Gold price. I thought the walls needed painting, there was work needed on the floor boards, etc. No fans in the rooms, but the furniture was nice and comfortable.

  We have stayed with the Islander 4 or 5 times now . We always enjoy our time there . The condos are nice and roomy . The view of the ocean is great !!! Very convenient locatin . The employees are so helpful and friendly . My only complaint is the floors were in need of a good cleaning. Overall our stay was very good ! We will be back . May try another unit .

  This condo was recently remodeled and super nice! We have always stayed in the same one, but it was already booked so ended up in this one. It will now be our yearly condo! Highly recommended!
