  This is our 2nd time staying at The Islander and first time in unit 603. Staff was very friendly & helpful. Grounds are beautiful and very well maintained. Unit was clean and has a beautiful view. Kitchen items were well provided.
  Cons: Some of the furniture was worn and needs to be replaced. The couch was very uncomfortable and the bed pillows are very flat (woke with neck aches).

  I’m happy to say the condo was clean upon our arrival and had a beautiful view of the ocean. We had a few issues so I called the number given and explained that we had a clogged bathroom sink and a broken toaster. They brought us a brand new toaster and fixed the clogged sink the same day. The only thing that I would have liked was an ice maker in the refrigerator or ice trays to make ice. Also access to a washer and dryer in the condo would have been nice too. They were located on the second floor and 3 of the 6 washers was out of order along with 2 of the 6 dryers. Otherwise this is a great location and a great condo.

  What a great stay! Unit 603 was very clean and has a beautiful view. Everything in the unit was in good working order. The kitchen was well supplied with pots pans, utensils, and even a Yeti cup. The only complaint was the dining room table was glass and there was no windex, so after we ate and cleaned it, there were lots of streaks (just being nit picky). The living room was great too. Both couches were comfortable but leather. I’m personally not a fan of leather couches, too sticky. There was a huge TV with surround sound. We always bring our Fire Stick, so no issues with the cable or DVD players. Both rooms were very nice, plenty of pillows, blankets, and storage. The balcony is great, we ate quite a few meals out there, enjoying the view. Despite the fact the unit is surrounded on all sides by other units we heard minimal noise outside this unit.
  
  As for the property itself, it is very well maintained. The employees are all very nice and accommodating. The highlight of the staff was the beach attendant, Allen. He was there everyday at 7am and didn’t leave until well after 5 pm. We were there for 7 days and he was there every single day.
  
  We highly recommended this condo.

  My family's stay at The Islander was extremely positive. Everything was comfortable from the welcome we received from the staff to the accommodations. The quick access to the beach allowed my family to quickly chose between pool and ocean fun at any moment throughout the day.
  The only two items I found to be a little sketchy was that the outlet in the bathroom was not a GFI outlet and the multi-plug outlet in the living area was attached to wall literally with duct tape. Not a reason to run away just strange is all.
  Our next visit will be again to The Islander but I will be booking a stay on the 7th floor. On our last two nights we unfortunately must have had a young one in the place above us and WOW did they have energy at 11pm.

  We have stayed here for the last two years for our family-of-four beach vacation. This unit is in the perfect location. It is located close to the beach so that you can hear the ocean from your balcony and see the water clearly. When you walk to the beach, you can head east and find less-populated areas of the beach to set up, as well as the huge rocks and the shallow waters of the East Pass. This unit is also the cleanest unit we have stayed in; The Islander has high standards on cleanliness, and we appreciate it. We love this unit and will be back!

  We've been coming to Destin for years - and staying at the Islander for years, as well. The location is perfect: close to everything and yet just away enough to be quiet. Great ocean view and proximity. Beach service inclusion is fantastic. Unit 603 was super comfortable, had excellent upgrades, and was perfect for our group of 5. We had absolutely no issues at all. I've never been picky about which unit we rented but this is one I may specifically request in the future. We enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning.
