Unit 503 is beautifully decorated in a beach-farmhouse decor with a nice open feel. Master bedroom offers a king size bed with a queen in the guest bedroom (new mattresses) and an accommodating sleeper sofa in the living room. This unit comfortably sleeps 6 and you can enjoy a 55 inch flat screen TV with built in DVD in the Living Room and 26 inch flat screen with DVD in both bedrooms. Unit 503 has a fully equipped kitchen with everything you need. Enjoy the soft, white sand on the Islander’s private beach, which is just steps from your unit, where free beach chairs and umbrella are included. Your private balcony offers a gorgeous unobstructed view of the clear emerald green waters of the Gulf of Mexico! Come enjoy a great get-away in this gem of a unit!

  This condo was the perfect space for our family of 5 to spend a week over Spring Break. The property is conveniently located close to shopping and restaurants and the beach view from the balcony are spectacular! The beds were very comfortable! The tables and dresser tops are protected by glass. The kitchen is well stocked with everything one could need. Beautifully decorated beach theme. The sleeper sofa mattress wasn't very supportive but my adult son was able to sleep comfortably on the sofa without pulling it out. I would definitely stay here again.

We love the beach attendant Alan, he is the best!!! Hope to return again in 2022! If I was going to make any changes at all it would just be because of how busy The Islander has gotten over the last 2 years. They have a great kids program and when you travel with kids it is so nice to have, but when you don't have littles anymore it would be nice to have an area that is an adults only space(maybe like the west pool area).

  We were thrilled with the condo that we rented. The unit was clean and had everything we needed to be very comfortable. The views were fabulous from our balcony. The entire property is very well maintained, very clean. Maggie (front desk) was AMAZING with restaurant suggestions and answered all questions we had. She is a GEM! Alan, the beach supervisor, was so friendly while we chose where we wanted our chairs and umbrella each day. He works very hard and is a fun guy to be around, you can tell he loves what he does! The Islander provided us with a wonderful place to stay, we loved it! The one thing that won’t get a 5 star rating is the fitness room. We had to wait over an hour to get in because it accommodates only 2 people at a time. I opted to do body weight workouts in our condo instead. Overall, we were very happy with everything!

  I cannot say enough positive things about our stay at The Islander. The location was perfect on Holiday Isle, just off the beaten path, yet still close to all that Destin has to offer. The condo itself was furnished beautifully, but also very livable for our family. The view is a 10/10. I enjoyed coffee on the balcony every morning while watching the dolphins swim. The grounds are well maintained and the staff is very friendly and accommodating. I would have loved to have a restaurant or two in walking distance, but the lesser traffic was a welcome trade-off. I would recommend the Islander to anyone looking to visit Destin.

  My family and I had a wonderful time. The condo had an amazing view. Dolphins were swimming by multiple times a day throughout our stay. Plenty of room for all four of us and we had everything that we needed. We will be requesting this unit again.

  Such a comfortable home away from home! This unit was fresh and stylish. We loved the solid surface flooring and nicely appointed master suite. Beds were comfortable too! We enjoyed the fabulous ocean view from the deck. This was out 2nd stay at the Islander. First time on the west building overlooking the ponds and ocean, this time the east building with direct ocean views. We loved them both! The pools and hot tubs were great too. I have no complaints!

  We loved the room. Super clean. Everything we needed. This is our 4th or 5th trip to The Islander. Unfortunately, we came during hurricane Micheal and had to evacuate. We were so sad to have to leave because the 2 days we were there we loved it.

  We have stayed in this 503 for the past 3 summer vacations. It is our favorite vacation spot! The unit is exactly as described and never disappoints us. The location is amazing! On the beach, off the main road but close to everything! The unit is always very clean and well maintained, which is very very important to me! The condo had very attentive staff and they always go above and beyond to make sure our stay is perfect! The beach service is wonderful! Alan does a great job making sure your stay is perfect! The kids club is perfect and our daughter always enjoys the activities they provide! We hope to enjoy another vacation here next summer!

  Great location.
  Very clean and cozy.
  The Refrigerator was not cooling well the first couple of days, let the front desk know.
  With in 3 hours maintenance repaired the unit, never had a problem after that.
  Gals at the front desk were very friendly and informational.

  We love staying at the Islander, and Unit 503 is beautiful. It is decorated nicely, and has a wonderful ocean view. We have stayed in Unit 503 for the last two years. The staff is great and the property is clean and well-maintained. It is located close to alot of great restaurants. Maguire's Irish Pub is delicious. The Islander is quite, beautiful, and definitely the place to stay in Destin.

  First off, the view from the balcony was spectacular. The unit is nice and spacious. The beach is definitely a short walk and a huge benefit/perk was having access to chairs and an umbrella on the beach. We had a great time and would consider coming back. Only negative thing was the communication by the property management staff, which they could have done a better job. We had someone come by to spray for bugs without notice, property had a last minute pressure washing and we got an early morning call to move our car, and one of the days they shut down the water from 11-3pm. I know that this is not any fault of the owner. As stated earlier, we enjoyed our stay, location was great and we would consider coming back again. Thank you for sharing your home.
