Rules: For a comfortable stay, please note the following guidelines! Smoking is not allowed inside the units, balconies, or the patios; however, designated smoking areas are provided for your convenience. We kindly ask that no pets accompany you during your visit. Each unit accommodates a maximum of 6 guests to ensure everyone enjoys their space. An initial supply of paper towels, toiletries, and trash bags is included in the rental. Once these supplies are used, guests will need to restock for the remainder of their stay.

  We absolutely loved our first stay at the Islander. Unit 503 had the best views, updated and cute decor, and a nicely stocked kitchen. The grounds were in such great shape. The front desk staff was super friendly and helpful. Alan the chair guy was great! We loved having complimentary chairs every day! Work was being done on the outside of the building but the management was great at providing updates and it wasn’t an issue at all. We really enjoyed the pickleball courts too! This resort was conveniently located to everything we needed also! We will definitely be back!
  
  If I had to say one are for improvement I would say maybe to swap out the chair in the living room for a small loveseat or oversized chair. We didn’t have a lot of room when we all watched tv at night.

  We stay at The Islander each year and are never disappointed. This condo was beautiful and had all the necessary amenities. The Islander itself is a great and clean complex. There are also many activities for the kids. The location of the Islander is amazing, as well. We love being able to access the jetties and being near the harbor (especially for boats and fireworks). Holiday Isle is a bit more relaxed and a little less packed. We plan to come back and would happily stay in this unit again.

  This condo was the perfect space for our family of 5 to spend a week over Spring Break. The property is conveniently located close to shopping and restaurants and the beach view from the balcony are spectacular! The beds were very comfortable! The tables and dresser tops are protected by glass. The kitchen is well stocked with everything one could need. Beautifully decorated beach theme. The sleeper sofa mattress wasn't very supportive but my adult son was able to sleep comfortably on the sofa without pulling it out. I would definitely stay here again.

  One thing I think you could do is have recycling. It would cut down on the garbage. Another thing is to fix the 4 washing machines that are broken! Or replace with new ones.

  Love Destin and love to stay at The Islander-Resort on Holiday Isle. I find prices reasonable (slightly less cost than) Orange Beach/Gulf Shores.   This was our 6th time staying in unit 503 at The Islander and as always it was wonderful! The unit was perfect as always and the staff are always great! We love the beach attendant Alan, he is the best!!! Hope to return again in 2022! If I was going to make any changes at all it would just be because of how busy The Islander has gotten over the last 2 years. They have a great kids program and when you travel with kids it is so nice to have, but when you don't have littles anymore it would be nice to have an area that is an adults only space(maybe like the west pool area).

  We were thrilled with the condo that we rented. The unit was clean and had everything we needed to be very comfortable. The views were fabulous from our balcony. The entire property is very well maintained, very clean. Maggie (front desk) was AMAZING with restaurant suggestions and answered all questions we had. She is a GEM! Alan, the beach supervisor, was so friendly while we chose where we wanted our chairs and umbrella each day. He works very hard and is a fun guy to be around, you can tell he loves what he does! The Islander provided us with a wonderful place to stay, we loved it! The one thing that won’t get a 5 star rating is the fitness room. We had to wait over an hour to get in because it accommodates only 2 people at a time. I opted to do body weight workouts in our condo instead. Overall, we were very happy with everything!

  I cannot say enough positive things about our stay at The Islander. The location was perfect on Holiday Isle, just off the beaten path, yet still close to all that Destin has to offer. The condo itself was furnished beautifully, but also very livable for our family. The view is a 10/10. I enjoyed coffee on the balcony every morning while watching the dolphins swim. The grounds are well maintained and the staff is very friendly and accommodating. I would have loved to have a restaurant or two in walking distance, but the lesser traffic was a welcome trade-off. I would recommend the Islander to anyone looking to visit Destin.

  hey! myself and 4 others staying in 503 for spring break and it was so nice. it was roomy, set up nice, very clean and had a great view of the beach! they were fixing the beaches at the time, but the staff made sure complimentary chairs were still available and we had a easy way to the beach. will definitely be coming back!

  We searched the sites for location, size and decor and felt like this was a good fit. We only had 3 adults, but we wanted 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms for privacy. This condo was beautifully redecorated and comfortable with amazing waterfront views.   This was our 4th summer to spend our vacation at the Islander in unit 503. I can't say enough good things about this unit or the Islander in general! We love everything from the arrival with music playing and the resort feeling as well as the helpful staff at the front desk! They go above and beyond to make your stay the best!   My family and I had a wonderful time. The condo had an amazing view. Dolphins were swimming by multiple times a day throughout our stay. Plenty of room for all four of us and we had everything that we needed. We will be requesting this unit again.

  Such a comfortable home away from home! This unit was fresh and stylish. We loved the solid surface flooring and nicely appointed master suite. Beds were comfortable too! We enjoyed the fabulous ocean view from the deck. This was out 2nd stay at the Islander. First time on the west building overlooking the ponds and ocean, this time the east building with direct ocean views. We loved them both! The pools and hot tubs were great too. I have no complaints!

  We have stayed in this 503 for the past 3 summer vacations. It is our favorite vacation spot! The unit is exactly as described and never disappoints us. The location is amazing! On the beach, off the main road but close to everything! The unit is always very clean and well maintained, which is very very important to me! The condo had very attentive staff and they always go above and beyond to make sure our stay is perfect! The beach service is wonderful! Alan does a great job making sure your stay is perfect! The kids club is perfect and our daughter always enjoys the activities they provide! We hope to enjoy another vacation here next summer!

  The Refrigerator was not cooling well the first couple of days, let the front desk know.
  With in 3 hours maintenance repaired the unit, never had a problem after that.
  Gals at the front desk were very friendly and informational.

The staff is great and the property is clean and well-maintained. It is located close to alot of great restaurants. Maguire's Irish Pub is delicious. The Islander is quite, beautiful, and definitely the place to stay in Destin.

  First off, the view from the balcony was spectacular. The unit is nice and spacious. The beach is definitely a short walk and a huge benefit/perk was having access to chairs and an umbrella on the beach. We had a great time and would consider coming back. Only negative thing was the communication by the property management staff, which they could have done a better job. We had someone come by to spray for bugs without notice, property had a last minute pressure washing and we got an early morning call to move our car, and one of the days they shut down the water from 11-3pm. I know that this is not any fault of the owner. As stated earlier, we enjoyed our stay, location was great and we would consider coming back again. Thank you for sharing your home.
