Bedrooms: The master bedroom features a king-sized bed and a private bathroom with a walk-in shower. The second bedroom is perfect for families or groups, offering two double beds that sleep four comfortably. Both bedrooms are equipped with ceiling fans and flat-screen TVs for added convenience.

Complimentary Beach Service is provided from March 1 to Oct 31. As a guest at The Islander, you can enjoy (2) complimentary beach chairs and (1) umbrella, each day of your stay! (Valid for stays 14 days or less)

Amenities: At The Islander Resort in Destin, Florida, you can enjoy an active and fun-filled Destin vacation with access to two pools (1-Seasonally Heated), (4) pickleball courts, (2) tennis courts, a half basketball court, and two shuffleboard courts. Complimentary equipment is available for checkout at the front desk, making it easy to stay engaged during your stay.

Fitness Center & Grilling Area: The fitness center is located next to the lobby just a short stroll away! What a great way to keep up with your workout routine while you are on vacation in Destin. For those looking to savor the fresh catch of the day or grill some delicious burgers, the pavilion and gazebo are equipped with several charcoal grills for guest use.

Children Vacation Activities: During the summer season, we offer a variety of vacation activities for children, ensuring a memorable family vacation experience. NOTE: Washer & Dryers are NOT provided in every vacation rental; However, Coin Operated washer & dryers are located on premises!

Rules: For a comfortable stay, please note the following guidelines! Smoking is not allowed inside the units or on the patio; however, designated smoking areas are provided for your convenience. We kindly ask that no pets accompany you during your visit. Each unit accommodates a maximum of 6 guests to ensure everyone enjoys their space. An initial supply of paper towels, toiletries, and trash bags is included in the rental. Once these supplies are used, guests will need to restock for the remainder of their stay.

  Our rental experience was nice! The condo was clean and in good shape. There was plenty of room for our family and the view of the gulf was amazing! The sofa and master mattress was a little uncomfortable but the other beds were fine. Overall a beautiful room in a fabulous location!

  Fabulous location, Perfect view of the ocean with seats for five on the porch, comfortable beds, spacious for the five of us, lots of kitchen,
  tools, everything was really clean, plenty of towels for pool and beach, appreciated that there was a staff member in the lobby for check-in and questions, pool was perfectly cleaned at all times and warm. The beach was as close as it could be. And the two comfort beach chairs and umbrella were glorious. Saw dolphins the morning I got up early-straight from our porch right in front :-) couldn’t have been happier. I just would have brought potholders if I were to change my preparations :-)

  we booked this trip last minute after deciding we did not want to leave Destin. The confirmations were fast and the information to the room was promptly received. Upon arriving, the front desk, staff was great. When we got to the room, the view was fantastic and it was the first thing my kids saw. The room was perfect for what we needed. The balcony was larger than your normal balcony and we spent a majority of the time on it. The way the room overlooked the pool Was great because I could see my kids in the pool from the balcony that was a huge benefit. We also really liked how they had a few activities for the kids, they did the Sandcastle building and my son really enjoyed it. Everything in the room was clean. We would definitely stay here again!

  We had such an enjoyable stay over Spring Break 3/16-3/23. The condo is in an ideal location just steps to the pool and beach. We were pleasantly surprised— amazing ocean view from the balcony and master bedroom window. All beds were incredibly comfortable and the condo was clean. If anything needs improvement, it would be updating the bathrooms and sofa / decor in the living area. All were fully functional and in perfect working order, just looking a bit tired and in need of refreshing.

  We were on the 4th floor with a gulf view. Very nice condo with great view of the ocean and east pool. Activities daily for kids/families that was a nice touch. We grilled at the gazebo area and swam at both pools which was nice because it one pool was crowded we would check the other. One day we did get locked out from the balcony (was stuck on the balcony) but called and someone came right up. We don’t know how it happened because no one was on the inside to lock the balcony door. I would recommend this condo. Restaurants nearby that we went to were The Back Porch, McGuires, Rockin Tacos, Merlin’s Pizza, Whataburger and Krispie Kreme. Great location.

  Everything was ok. I just wish housekeeping would do a lot better job. Tile floors were filthy. I wiped up kitchen floors with towel and afterwards towel was black with dirt. This was when we first entered condo. You had to either keep shoes on or wipe feet off before going to bed. I stayed in a different room last year and had same problem.

  We usually visit the Islander in August but due to an upcoming and unexpected surgery for our daughter we had to reschedule our vacation to June. Unit 407 was literally the only unit available for the week we needed and so we took it! We have stayed in the same unit for the past 8 years so we were nervous. Once we arrived we quickly realized that this unit would more then suit our needs! It was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed! As always the Islander was our perfect spot and beach service by Alan was exceptional! Until next year!!!

  Staff was great as always. Plenty of everything needed. We always stay in the unit. This year we saw it needed some TLC. The sectional should be replaced with a new one. Sectional of course because it’s the only reason we always choose this unit. The wife and I can comfortably stretch out. The master needs the mold on the ceiling taken care of. It happens in all bathrooms. All in all a 4.5 stars.

  We love the islander! It’s the only place to stay. We’ve been going there for roughly 15 years and we’ve never been disappointed. Staff is always helpful. The condos are clean and beautiful. The view is beautiful and love being able to walk to the beach. Their pools, hot tubs and grilling areas are nice and even their laundry area is clean. The beach service with 2 chairs and umbrella is great not to mention Alan is always helpful and kind.

  We rented room 407 updates had been made since 2016. Very comfortable I like the fact it is not on the main strip where it so busy. great view. Only complaint I have in the bedrooms it got hot at night with doors shut. Overall we enjoyed our stay for the 2nd year in a row. We will be back!
