Complimentary Beach Service is provided from March 1 to Oct 31. As a guest at The Islander, you can enjoy (2) complimentary beach chairs and (1) umbrella, each day of your stay! (Valid for stays 14 days or less)

At The Islander Resort in Destin, Florida, you can enjoy an active and fun-filled Destin vacation with access to two pools (1-Seasonally Heated), four pickleball courts, two tennis courts, a half basketball court, and two shuffleboard courts. Complimentary equipment is available for checkout at the front desk, making it easy to stay engaged during your stay.

Fitness Center & Grilling Area: The fitness center, conveniently located next to the lobby just a short stroll away! What a great way to keep up with your workout routine while you are on vacation in Destin. For those looking to savor the fresh catch of the day or grill some delicious burgers, the pavilion and gazebo are equipped with several charcoal grills for guest use.

Additional Rules per Management: For a comfortable stay, please note the following guidelines! Smoking is not allowed inside the units or on the patio; however, designated smoking areas are provided for your convenience. We kindly ask that no pets accompany you during your visit. Each unit accommodates a maximum of 6 guests to ensure everyone enjoys their space. An initial supply of paper towels, toiletries, and trash bags is included in the rental. Once these supplies are used, guests will need to restock for the remainder of their stay. Please note Washer & Dryers are not available unless specified! Onsite Laundry Room: Coin Operated!

  Overall, not bad. The Keurig coffeepot did not work at all and when we said something at the ftont desk, they said there was nothing they could do about it. We brought pods for that pot since the pictures indicated that there was a coffee pot that used pods. That was an onconvenience. There were ugly stains on the couch! It looked like somrone spilled coffee or was it a bathroom ‘accident’? The tv was very difficult to figure iut how to usr. You should have left some kind of instructions. Thst would have been helpful.

  We have stayed at the islander for the last 5-6 years. Our stay was overall good however the new policy is only 4 beach towels per room and when you book the room for 6 well you need 6!! Towel exchange is only a couple days a week which stinks... would prefer to be able to exchange daily if needed. Our room didn’t have enough pillow cases or linens for the pull out couch bed. The staff at the front desk were very friendly and helpful.

  We stayed at the Islander in unit 405 with our two small children. It was the perfect size and distance from the pools and beach. The unit was clean and everything worked great. Having the beach chairs/umbrella was perfect for trips down the beach but our kids were just fine hanging in the pool too. It was nice to have both options.

  Shower door was broke. they did bring shower curtain. Second bedroom dresser drawer fell apart when we put small amount of clothes. tv did not work well.

  The Islander is amazing! Our condo was spacious and had a nice view of the ocean. Having two pools to choose from was a bonus. The staff was very helpful and friendly. You can’t beat the location! Just about a mile and a half away from Target and Winn Dixie, and plenty of good restaurants are within a short driving distance. I would definitely stay at The Islander again.

  Overall my stay was pretty good. The location was in the middle of everything with access to the beach only a few feet away from my balcony which overlooked the pool and beach. My only complaint is the hallways to get to the rooms were not so clean and contact with maintenance was not very pleasant. Other than that my stay was very good. I would suggest it to others.

  This is our second time we stayed at The Islander. The apartment was a welcoming, roomy, and comfortable experience. Each bedroom has a TV, (a must for teenagers), plenty of closet space and very comfortable beds. The bed in the master bedroom is heavenly! The kitchen is well equipped with dishes, utensils and appliances for your entertaining needs. A grocery store is located about one mile away and there are a variety of restaurants to choose from along the strip. The Islander staff, although busy at times are very helpful and polite. The guests are polite and respectful with noise levels as well. The beach , conventiently close is wonderful. Alan, is very accomodating and a definite treasure for The Islander! The two pool areas are clean and very well maintained. The Islander is a secured area to protect both yourselves and your possesions. I would highly recommend staying here to anyone! Thank you Islander for making our vacation a success!

  I have been coming to the islander for 21 years now and this stay was just as great as the others. The condo was nicely renovated and very clean.
