This beach front vacation condo is located at The Islander Resort on Holiday Isle in Destin , Florida along the Emerald Coast and only steps away from the pool and private beach access. Unit 305 is located in the center of their East building which gives a beautiful view of the Emerald green water of the Gulf along with a direct view of the East pool and hot tub. A great location for keeping an eye on your friends and your children. All the rooms in this unit have been updated with new furniture and artwork as well as new laminate flooring in the bedrooms. The newly renovated bathrooms includes a walk-in shower in the master bath and a tub in the guest bath. The dining area seats 6 people with additional bar stool seating at the counter. The kitchen was recently updated with stainless steel appliances and well equipped with everything needed. This units coastal décor adds to the ambiance for the perfect beach vacation! Sleeping accommodations for 6 people with a king bed in the master bedroom, 2 twin beds in the guest room along with a queen sleeper sofa in the living room. The unit is equipped with a 55 inch smart tv in the living room along with 43 inch smart tv’s in each bedroom, Unit 305 includes beach service including two beach chairs and an umbrella for the duration of your stay. It is non smoking and pet free

  We enjoyed our stay in Unit 305 at the Islander. We have been coming to the Islander for many years. The unit was nicely decorated, great ocean view, and had all of the amenities. We also love the two nice swimming pools. The Islander is close to McGuire's Irish Pub , AJ's, and lots of good food. Our overall stay was great, but the King master bedroom mattress was a extremely firm, would suggest a mattress topper to soften it. We do love the Islander, nice and quiet, and very friendly staff. We love the location and will be back.

The only complaint we had this year was that the pickle ball courts were under construction (due to open 3/16) and did not actually open for the kids to play until 3/21. That is one of the highlights for the kids, so this was a big disappointment for them.

  Gorgeous view, great communication, well stocked kitchen for cooking basic meals. Direct view of pool from balcony and unobstructed beach view. If you are staying more than 3 days or have more than 4 people, Bring a little extra of paper towels, toilet paper, dishwashing packs, laundry soap, shampoo,conditioner, body wash, and trash bags. There was no in unit laundry but there was coin laundry on site. They have shopping carts to help haul around your groceries and bags and walking was pretty good for both old people and toddlers. Beds were comfy for 4 but we didn’t try out the sofa bed. We were so glad we picked this beautiful spot.

  We were fortunate to find Unit 305 available for a last minute trip to Destin for the July 4th holiday week. So many condos require a 6-7 night stay which was not possible for our family so this unit worked out perfectly for the 5 nights we needed. The unit was clean, beautifully updated, spacious, had all the basic necessities, and a beautiful view of the pool and gulf coast! The amenities were as advertised so we came prepared with some extra necessities from home and then made our grocery run to the Winn Dixie 1.5 miles away. Since there was no washer/dryer in the unit it was nice to have linen exchange days for fresh towels. I would like to suggest updating the amenities list to specify there is no w/d in the unit and only a coin laundry available as both were listed which led to my misunderstanding. Not a huge deal since we tend to over pack and would not have stopped us from renting, but we might have packed a little differently. The beach chair/umbrella service was great and the attendant was very nice! We brought two of our own beach chairs, since there were 4 of us, to save on additional chair rental costs, but it was nice to have that option as well. The walk from the condo to beach was super easy and not far at all. The beach area was really crowded but that was likely due to the holiday week. We also enjoyed going for walks/runs in the morning along the long stretch of Gulf Shore Drive which had side walks for added safety. The pool area was well maintained and very nice as well. Our daughter was so excited to come home one evening and find them showing Finding Nemo on the big screen by the pool. She watched from our balcony and had a great view! Overall I would highly recommend this unit at the Islander and would definitely stay here again!

  We have stayed in this unit 4 times. It’s always nice. We enjoy the location, amenities and the beach service is always great. I feel like our unit could have been cleaner; I vacuumed on the second day we were there, the walls were dirty. The unit could use a good scrub, but overall we enjoyed our stay! we will return to the Islander again; we may try a different unit, or hope that if we use the same unit again, that it is cleaner.

  The resort was great for our budget, and close to the beach. Unit was very pleasant and clean, though the main TV was not working and was not fixed during our stay. Tennis courts were closed due to damage in last's years hurricane and this was not disclosed on the website. Loud music by the pool from 10 to 10pm on weekend reverberated across the resort.

  My daughter wanted to go beach so we decided to go to Destin, FL and stayed at Islander from 11/23/19-11/27/19. The weather was nice and we enjoyed a great holiday. My daughter enjoyed collecting seashells at the beach and swimming in pool. The hot tub was also nice.

  My Wife and I took our vacation at the Islander Resort 8-31/9-7-19. Everything about this vacation was perfect. The unit, #305, was super clean and very convenient to everything around Destin. The master bath is super roomy and pretty, and made it easy for a couple to share the space. The unit is very well laid out, we had a guest stay with us for 3 nights, and it was very comfortable for all. The front desk staff were very helpful with giving us ideas of great food, tours etc.....The balcony overlooks the pool, (beautiful), and the ocean, (breathtaking). The Beach, beautiful white sand and the water crystal clear and turquoise. The restaurant selection is unbelievable. Everything so close. We ate such great seafood, happy hours at a few favorite places and we will go back to this place in a heartbeat.

  Overall I was extremely pleased with my stay at the Islander. Our Condo (305) was a bit dated, but for the most part had everything we could need for our stay. Kitchen was well outfitted and there were Plenty of towels. Beds were comfortable. My only complaint was the couch. It had a piece of plywood under the cushions to "firm" it up...which it the point of being hard as a rock.
  
  The beach was excellent. White sand and emerald water as advertised. An easy walk with all of our gear. Alan, the beach attendant was very friendly and helpful. It was nice having the beach service included so we didn't have to worry about chairs.
  
  Both pools were warm and clean. The kids loved having that option as we had a couple of cooler days that we didn't want to go out to the beach. Typical issues with people "claiming" chairs early in the morning and not showing up to use them until late afternoon or even at all.
  
  The grounds were very well kept and maintained. Very pretty. Grilling area at the west side of the building was fantastic.
  
  My one complaint for the outside/common area was the tennis courts. I might have missed this, but in all the photos I saw, there were these nice tennis courts shown close to the beach and east pool. Those don't belong to the Islander. Their courts are at the front of the West building and did not have tennis nets up during our visit. They did have pickleball nets, but those are quite a bit smaller and not the same. Not a huge deal, but if you're going to say you have tennis courts, have at least one court to use.

  We all had a great time. This is the second time I have rented 305 always has been clean but this time there was sand all over the loveseat the day we checked in from the previous renters. I did not mention it to the office we just cleaned it ourselves. I do love this unit.

  This is a wonderful room to stay in. A beautiful view and very well taken care of. We go to the Islander twice a year if possible and we never know what room we will get. We loved this condo and hope in the future, if it is available to stay there again. I would highly recommend this Condo to anyone.
