Complimentary Beach Service is provided from March 1 to Oct 31. As a guest at The Islander, you can enjoy (2) complimentary beach chairs and (1) umbrella, each day of your stay! (Valid for stays 14 days or less)

Amenities: At The Islander Resort in Destin, Florida, enjoy an active and fun-filled Destin vacation with access to two pools (1-Seasonally Heated), (4) pickleball courts, (2) tennis courts, a half basketball court, and two shuffleboard courts. Complimentary equipment is available for checkout at the front desk, making it easy to stay engaged during your stay.

Fitness Center & Grilling Area: The fitness center, conveniently located next to the lobby just a short stroll away! What a great way to keep up with your workout routine while you are on vacation in Destin. For those looking to savor the fresh catch of the day or grill some delicious burgers, the pavilion and gazebo are equipped with several charcoal grills for guest use.

Children Vacation Activities: During the summer season, we offer a variety of vacation activities for children, ensuring a memorable family vacation experience. Onsite Laundry Room: Not all rentals include a washer and dryer. Coin operated washer & dryers are located on premises!

Rules: For a comfortable stay, please note the following guidelines! Smoking is not allowed inside the units or on the patio; however, designated smoking areas are provided for your convenience. We kindly ask that no pets accompany you during your visit. Each unit accommodates a maximum of 6 guests to ensure everyone enjoys their space. An initial supply of paper towels, toiletries, and trash bags is included in the rental. Once these supplies are used, guests will need to restock for the remainder of their stay.

  This was our second visit to The Islander, and though the property was quite busy with the exterior renovations, our stay was most enjoyable. The building looks great. We love our unit, particularly our view, and hope to return! Our only request would be that the Board consider gas grills and not the hassle of charcoal briquet bbqs. That would be our only recommendation.

  The Islander is an excellent vacation spot in Destin. We loved everything about the unit except the king bed. It needs to be replaced. It was like sleeping directly on springs, very uncomfortable.

With so many elderly winter residents this is inexcusable! I will expect to see one in the lobby on next year's visit. Come on Islander, you can do better! Everything else is A+.

  The location on Holiday Isle was great,close enough to get to the main route through town, but removed enough that you don't have to deal with traffic and crowds near the condo. The amenities were great: 2 clean pools and hot tubs, beach access and chairs with a friendly attendant, tennis/ basketball/ shuffleboard, and kids activities were awesome. Our kids would have been fine to never leave the property. Our unit could have used a deep clean but was generally fine. The living room furniture was a little beat up, with the couches and pillows feeling a little oily. The unit was very comfortable, with plenty of towels, kitchen cookware/ utensils, and blankets. The patio was great and we spent a lot of time out there eating and relaxing. We had a nice view and it was quiet at the end unit.Although our unit did not have a washer/ dryer, the laundry room was pretty convenient to the unit and easy to use. Overall, we had a great stay and were very comfortable.

  Unit 218 was great. My son who is 6'4 had a little trouble showering due to the shower heads being too low for him, but not for the rest of us. The location of the unit right be the stairs was great! The beach, pools, and hot tubs were never over crowded. The white sand beach was beautiful. We had a great time at the Islander look forward to staying there again.

  Beautiful 2 bedroom/2 bath condo. Ideal for up to 6 people. Nicely decorated and very clean. You can see the Harbour and Gulf from afar but no view of the beach. Do not let that stop you from renting. The landscaping is beautiful and one of the 2 pools is by this condo along with charcoal grills and shuffleboard. The beach was amazing and we saw lots of dolphins. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We did not use the coin operated laundry room, however, it’s just down from this condo. We had a great time!

  For the first time ever renting a condo on a beach, it was definitely not a disappointment. It was all that it said it would be and even more. Very nice unit. Loved the decor, went right along with beach theme. Really don’t have any complaints. When I am away from, I miss my bed the most. But in this case, the beds were awesome. My children even complimented on them. Our views were amazing!! I will have to rate it a 10!!

  The room was fantastic. Very comfortable and quite. My friend got married on the beach and we had the reception in the Palm Room. My room was on the same floor as the Palm Room so it was helpful to just walk back and forth on the same floor to retrieve things we needed. The staff was very nice and helpful. The beach is very close and easy to get to.

  My families experience to this Islander's condo could not have been any better. From everything that was there in the condo for our living convenience to the many options available at the resort. The convenience of having a clean and roomy condo, the wonderful check in and front desk assistance throughout the week, ability to use sports equipment at the resort, to the wonderful and clean grilling equipment/picnic area, the multiple swimming pools, the laundry room, and mostly importantly the beach chairs/umbrella available on a daily basis on the beach for our convenience. Location in the building and in the city itself was perfect for everything anyone would want to do while on vacation. This condo and rental company for sure will be my next option when I return to Destin in the future.

  Very nice condo! The bathrooms need updating. There is now new furniture in the living room and a new TV. The kitchen has new appliances.The owner Mike and his wife Ruthie are very nice and so helpful. Of course the staff at the Islander are exceptional!
