This beachfront vacation condo rental is located in Destin, Florida along the Emerald Coast. The unit will has lovely ceramic tile throughout. The kitchen and the bathrooms have been completely renovated with all new cabinets, quartz countertops, sinks, faucets, bathtub/showers and hardware. The master bath features a walk in shower. This is one of the few units in the building to have a washer and dryer. The unit accommodates up to 6 people with a new king mattress in the master bedroom 32' TV, queen in the guest bedroom 32' TV, and a new sleeper sofa (07/2023) in the living room. The living room does have all new furniture including dining room table and chairs as of 07/2023. This unit features flat panel TVs, and the living room has a new 55” smart TV. Destin’s beach is just steps away with a beautiful ocean view from your private balcony. Your Vacations at the Islander Condominiums and Resort awaits you.

    Have stayed at the Islander since 1988. Second time staying in unit 507. This year the living room furniture and dining area was new. Very nice and comfortable. The recliner is way to small for adults. The master bedroom mattress is a bit uncomfortable. Needs to be flipped or replaced. Gorgeous view of the balcony. Kitchen is well equipped and had everything we needed. All and all a great stay. Would stay in unit 507 again. The Islander in general is a great place to stay.

    We were lucky to get Unit #507 for our week stay at the islander. When we walked in, we could tell it had been freshly cleaned and ready for us! It was a big plus having the washer and dryer in the condo to keep laundry up and not having to pay extra for the convenience. We all had a wonderful stay. Beds are a little worn and not very supportive. Could use better mattresses. The 5th floor gave a beautiful view from the balcony and master bedroom window! We will be back!

    Nice two bedroom condo that was clean and had all amenities. Easy walk to the beach and loved the beach chairs/umbrella. Beach chair setup was a bit weird; U-shape. Would’ve been better to spread everyone out. Would suggest a Keurig for the condo. I didn’t want to make a pot of coffee and have to clean it all up. I would also highly recommend a mattress pad or topper for the king bed. It was uncomfortable and hard. A simple mattress pad/topper would solve that.

    Another beautiful week in Destin. Specific to our unit was there was something that tried to resemble a recliner in a Barbie Dollhouse!! It provided some laughter but it just took up space with absolutely no comfort for a normal sized adult!! That was disappointment.. Another thing was having to ask for our loyalty discount post check out following our trip back home when reviewing our final invoices.

    Wonderful location and spent lots of time at the beach. Unit was not up to par with the furniture or having stuff fixed. Open a drawer and it fell out along with wobbly towel racks. Fixed it right away but racks were still wobbly. Used the sprayer in the kitchen and wasn’t attached. Looks like it needs deep cleaning. We were in this unit a couple of years ago and washer still had buttons pushed in so touchy to turn on. A plus is the view of the gulf. Can’t beat it. Some great amenities and then some not so much

    Unit 507 is an excellent choice at the Islander. It has a great view of the beach and the gulf. Everything was in working order and is stocked extremely well. We had a minor problem and the staff was eager to help. We would go back again. Plus, the weather was excellent for December!

    We love staying at The Islander- first time to stay in unit with washer and dryer. Unit 507 had everything we needed and great beach views. We had two great weeks and hope to return next year. Alan was great with the umbrellas and chairs as always !The pool seemed to have more sand than normal. We thought the faculty did not allow pets but this year saw 2 families with dogs - specifically saw a dog on leash being led out of a room. Just puzzled over that...didn’t know the rules had changed.

    We had smokers on the floor below us, and it took days for the smoking to stop. Hopefully next year we won't have such a thing as we never had this issue before. The beds are still the same, they are very hard for us so we bring mattress toppers so we can sleep comfortably. It would be nice if the thermostat would go below 68 as well; as the bedroom seems so much warmer than the living area. But we choose to book again for next year all the same. Location, location, location.

    Unit 507 was clean and in good repair. The location is close to everything restaurants, shopping and the beach. The property is well maintained and the staff are friendly. I would have given our stay five stars, but the bed was very hard. This was our second stay and we plan on a third.

    The location was fabulous! The view was better than the pictures and the gulf water clarity was so clear it was like you were in a swimming pool. The unit had every thing we needed and very clean. We had fun playing shuffleboard and the on-site staff was very pleasant. Our only disappointment was that the tennis courts were closed and unusable. My son hoped to get some tennis in before high school tournaments started.

    Everything was just as I expected it-always a pleasure. I would suggest you put some sort of bar in the master shower instead of on the outside. Also if there is no damage to suite the damage deposit should be refunded-at least partially. Other than that we definitely will be back!

    We have been going to the Islander for summer vacation since our daughter was around 7 or 8 years old. She is now 25 and married, and we still go to the Islander for summer vacations. The Islander has always provided excellent service to us and holds a special place in our hearts for great memories. The unit we stayed in for our most recent stay was a great one. It had been updated with remodeling and decorating. It was very nice. The scenery from our balcony was absolutely beautiful, especially when you first wake up in the morning. What a sight to wake up to! The unit was very clean. The bathroom in the master was roomy and so nice. Having a washer and dryer made our stay even better. Everyone at the front desk has always been both friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this unit and and condo to a friend or relative. When we needed a little break from the sand and sun, we hopped in the car, and there was plenty of shopping and nice restaurants waiting for us. The Mexican restaurant near the condo was fabulous along with Whole Market. Also, you can't go to Destin without getting Bruster's ice cream. It's the best we've ever had. Also, walking along the beach in the evening was one of our favorite "end of the day" retreats. We were very pleased with our stay and were sad to leave. However, we will be back. Thanks for another awesome time at The Islander.

    This was our second time staying at the Islander. Once again we could not have asked for better. Our condo was super clean.
