Updated Kitchen appliances. Updated family dinning area. Comfortable family sectional with accent chair. Destin's Beach is just steps away with a beautiful view from your private balcony. All units are non-smoking.

  Our unit #506 had an amazing view and was totallly equipped with all kitchen items needed. We stayed for 2 1/2 months. The beds are quite comfortable. The sectional sofa, though it looks good needs to be replaced. I hope the owners will replace it. Other then that we have nothing but amazing things to say about this place. The unit was very clean as well as the grounds and common spaces. The staff is friendly and guest are so nice and fun to be around.

  We have stayed at the Islander for the last 3 years and we love it. Every year has been a different unit. 506 was perfect for our trip - 3 teenage girls and 2 adults. Always a great vacation and this property hasn’t let us down. The only issue is the elevators- one was down and when it was working we decided not to take it due to the function not at 100%. They had work being done on it but I’m sure the high use in this climate makes it hard. Again, overall great stay.

  we always love our stay at the Islander. My wife has been going there since she was a kid. This unit was good overall. Suggestions for improvement would be new mattresses especially the king bed, dvd players that actually work, and a rug for living room. The tile only in living area can get slick with sand.

  For the most part there are no complaints. The room itself was amazing and just what I needed for the family. The west pool being closed the last night we were there was really disappointing. They said someone would clean it the following morning but it was just the maintenance man who cleaned said pool so I don’t understand why it wasn’t done that night.

  This is our go to location for Destin. Been there like 5 or 6 times. Always clean and it's kept up very well. People are always cleaning up around the pool, hosing off the deck area. Umbrellas on the beach are set up. Everyone is helpful and friendly. It's away from the hustle bustle but also close to evrything you need.

  We rented unit 506 through VRBO. This was the first time we used VRBO, and it was a good experience. I looked at many different condos, but chose 506 because of its location and views of the ocean. It was a nicely furnished unit, the management was friendly and fast to get us checked in, and the grounds were well maintained. The pool was a bit older, but did the job. The oval pool on the south side was much newer and nicer, and not nearly as crowded as the main one. We would definitely stay here again, as we absolutely loved the beaches and crystal clear water of Destin.

  This was our third stay at the Islander. Everything has always been very nice. This was our first stay in this unit. It was very nice. The entire place is clean it is convenient to all Destin has to offer. Due to construction, we had to be moved from our original booked condo but the office called ahead of time to let us know and when I told them I was traveling with a special needs child and had chosen that condo for certain accommodations, the lady made sure we were accommodated in our "new" place. The condo was clean and convenient to beach, elevators, pool, and lobby. Awesome view! Comfortable furniture. Would stay here again.

  We've stayed at the Islander before and wanted to return because we love the Holiday Isle location. We rented unit 503 in April for our July trip, however, we were put in 506 because the owner of 503 moved us to accommodate a longer stay, making more money! We were not happy about that. Our unit was not as nicely decoratef as the one we picked out and the large rug in the living room was very stained and looked dirty. There were so.e minor things that could be touched up to make this unit more presentable such as cleaning and painting walls. Nevertheless, we had a great family vacation and enjoyed our beautiful view!

  The condo was very clean with a great view of the pool and ocean. We didn't have a lot of contact with the front desk but the few we had were positive ones. We stayed in this unit based on our son's previous experience at the Islander and his decision to return again this year with his family. We were able to have a great family get together. My spouse and I are retired and to be honest, if we return to Destin for vacationing, we would probably choose another area that was more suitable for retirees.
